Zobel Family Farms Chuck Roast
This mouth watering tray full of meat was cooked by our very own Mitchell Zobel. We had the pleasure of some family visiting from Missouri the past couple of days, and of course to kick off their visit we made some Zobel Family Farms Chuck Roast.
Mitchell first prepped the meat by "sous vide" which in French mean "under vacuum" which refers to the process of vacuum - sealing food in a bag then cooking it at a precise temperature in a water bath. After "sous vide" Mitchell then placed the meat on the stove top in a cast iron pan on a high temperature to sear the outer edges of the meat.
