Tami's Famous Homemade Chili never disappoints! Give this tasty chili recipe a try!

 Prep Time:

15 Minutes

Cook Time:

6 - 8 Hours

Total Time:

8.25 Hours

Servings:

8

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Zobel Family Farms Ground Beef (We prefer the 85/15% Lean - but you could use another leanness instead if you prefer)
  • Your choice of seasoning salt to season Ground Beef while browning (We like Lawry's Seasoned Salt)
  • 1 - 10.75 oz can Campbell's Tomato Soup
  • 1 or 2 - 12 oz cans Campbell's Tomato Juice (Depending how thin or thick you prefer the chili)
  • 2 - 14.5 oz cans Diced OR Stewed Tomatoes (Whichever you prefer)
  • 1/2 a Yellow Onion - chopped
  • 1 - 16 oz can Bush's Baked Beans
  • 1/8 to 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • Chili Powder to taste
  • Optional for garnish: shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, chives, crackers

Instructions:

1. Season and brown your ground beef  -- drain off any excess grease.

2. Once ground beef is browned, add all ingredients to your slow cooker.

3. With the heat on low, simmer chili for 6-8 hours, stirring occasionally.

4. You may serve the chili at this point if you'd like, but we find the chili usually      tastes best the next day after being refrigerated -- it allows for all the flavors to be incorporated with the ingredients.
